Overview

Project Manager Civil Engineering — We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with government-approved Civil Engineering credentials for an opportunity in the United Arab Emirates. This role offers excellent career growth potential in one of the region’s most dynamic construction markets.

Salary Range : AED 7,000 – 10,000 per month

Essential Qualifications

Education Requirements : Government Approved Civil Engineering Degree (mandatory). Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Professional engineering license / certification. Government approval documentation required.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience
  • Proven track record in civil engineering projects
  • Large-scale construction project management
  • Infrastructure development experience

Technical Expertise

  • Project planning and execution
  • Budget management and cost control
  • Quality assurance and safety management
  • Stakeholder coordination and communication
  • Risk assessment and mitigation
  • Construction methodology and best practices
  • Project management software : MS Project, Primavera
  • AutoCAD and engineering design software
  • Knowledge of UAE construction standards and UAE building codes
  • Understanding of FIDIC contracts

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership — Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and construction teams
  • Ensure delivery within timeline and budget constraints
  • Maintain quality standards and safety protocols
  • Team Management — Supervise site engineers and technical staff
  • Conduct regular project meetings and progress reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers and support professional development
  • Foster a collaborative team environment
  • Technical Oversight — Review drawings and specifications; monitor construction activities; resolve technical issues; ensure compliance with codes
  • Client Relations — Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; provide regular updates and reports; address concerns

    • Required Skills

  • Technical Competencies — Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera; AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of UAE construction standards and building codes
  • Familiarity with BIM
  • Project coordination and communication

    • Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Hindi advantageous for team communication

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

  • Knowledge of green building practices
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling)
