Medical Oncologist

We are seeking an accomplished Medical Oncologist to join our dedicated team. This role is critical in delivering excellent care and treatment to patients diagnosed with cancer, guiding them through their treatment journey with compassion and expertise.

As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing cancer, recommending appropriate treatment options, and managing patient care throughout the course of their illness. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the most comprehensive and coordinated care possible.

Responsibilities :

• Perform thorough assessments and establish diagnoses for patients with various types of cancer.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other modalities.
• Monitor patient progress, manage treatment side effects, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Coordinate with surgical and radiation oncologists to ensure a seamless patient care experience.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families about treatment options and cancer care.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancing the field of oncology.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Medical Oncology.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• At least 3-5 years of clinical practice experience in oncology.
• Strong clinical judgment and expertise in diagnosing and treating cancer.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with oncology advancements.
• Active medical license in the jurisdiction of practice.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
