Consultant Medical Oncologist (Female) - Dubai
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a leading oncology team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various types of cancer, using evidence-based protocols and a multidisciplinary approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with solid and hematologic malignancies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust protocols based on clinical response and side effects
- Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care teams
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Contribute to research, CME activities, and mentorship of junior staff
Qualifications & Experience
Medical degree from a recognized institutionBoard certification in Medical Oncology (e.g., American Board, FRCP, Arab Board, or equivalent)Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialization experience in oncologyDHA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in DubaiProven expertise in managing complex cancer cases across various organ systemsFamiliarity with international oncology guidelines (e.g., NCCN, ESMO, ASCO)Preferred Attributes
