Jebel Ali School, Dubai, is seeking an outstanding Learning Support Assistant (upper KS2) to join their leading British curriculum school.

The Role

The Learning Assistant supports the classroom teacher in promoting the learning and personal development of students, providing a learning environment that supports their developmental and educational needs, under the overall direction of the class teacher and Head of Inclusion / SENCO.

Requirements

• Minimum High School / Secondary School education in English and Math at A level
• High level of written and spoken English
• Graduates preferred
• Experience or aptitude for working with students with special educational needs; previous teaching or learning assistant experience preferred
• Knowledge of The National Curriculum for England and Wales preferred
• Strong focus on pastoral care and ability to identify and report safeguarding concerns
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to professional development
• Local hire only
