Engineer - Corrosion & Materials

JOB DESCRIPTION

Brief description of roles and responsibilities :

The Engineer - Corrosion & Materials will contribute to the delivery of materials engineering consultancy services (material and corrosion and cathodic protection) to the internal Wood business units and to Wood's external client base. This role is primarily based in Wood offices but may also require on-site support, both onshore and offshore.

Roles in this team are crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of engineering projects and will typically support one or more of the following specialist areas :

• Corrosion & Material Selection : Providing expert advice and solutions to avoid corrosion-related problems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities.
• Cathodic Protection (CP) : Develop, review and specifiy cathodic protection systems in new projects or modifications to existing facilities.
