Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Completion of a formal Armament training course from an accredited military or civilian school
- Knowledgeable in The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) is preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience working with aircraft armament weapon systems, aircraft weapons loading / AME procedures
- Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, hardware, and equipment used in aircraft armament maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot armament system malfunctions and interpret technical data
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Workshop Technician – Armament to support maintenance operations. You will work closely with the Armament Supervisor to perform inspections, services, and repairs on aircraft armament systems at both unit and intermediate levels. Your expertise will ensure aviation assets are mission-ready and operating optimally.

Job Responsibilities :
Disassemble, repair, adjust, remove, replace, service, prepare, preserve, clean, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on armament weapons support equipment and aircraft armament equipment.Load and unload airborne weapons and stores, including reconfiguration and functional testing of aircraft weapons release and control systems, and missile systems.Procure supplies, prepare reports, and utilize publications related to aviation ordnance and aircraft armament equipment.Conduct functional tests of racks, launchers, adapters, electrical components, and maintain aircraft armament circuits in operational condition through preventive maintenance.Test and maintain aircraft armament electrical fusing, firing, and release circuits.Inspect and prepare forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.Train host nation personnel on proper maintenance of aircraft armament and related components.#J-18808-Ljbffr
