The IT Support Engineer provides technical assistance and support to endusers within the organization Responsible for troubleshooting hardware software network and system issues ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of IT infrastructure The role requires strong problemsolving skills technical knowledge and excellent communication to deliver highquality support Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve userreported issues via phone email or ticketing systems Install configure and maintain hardware and software systems Troubleshoot network connectivity printer and peripheral device issues Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts permissions and security protocols Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks Document issues solutions and procedures clearly and accurately Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software across the organization Collaborate with the IT team to implement updates patches and security measures Provide training and support to endusers as needed Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets Follow organizational policies and procedures for IT security Qualifications Experience Educational Background Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field preferred Relevant certifications can substitute or complement formal education Certifications preferred CompTIA A or Network Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification Experience Range MidLevel 25 years of handson experience supporting hardware software and network systems
