talabat is looking for a high-impact Director of Growth Operations to lead a strategic lever for marketplace growth : partner-led discounting and menu pricing.
Reporting to the VP of Partner Growth, this role will own the end-to-end vision and strategy for affordability on the platform. You will develop our pricing and discounting framework, lead product and commercial initiatives, and ensure scalable, measurable outcomes through strong go-to-market strategies.
This is a strategic leadership role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, growth, pricing, product thinking, and commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy & Vision
- Define talabats affordability growth strategy for partner discounts and pricing optimization.
- Lead business case development, prioritization frameworks, and success metrics for all initiatives.
Product & Commercial Leadership
Partner closely with product, tech, and analytics teams to shape the pricing and discounting product roadmap.Translate strategic goals into product requirements, pilots, experiments, and platform rollouts.Own the commercial playbook for affordability campaigns, including segmentation, targeting, and ROI optimization.Go-To-Market
Build scalable plans in partnership with regional and local commercial teams.Design sales enablement toolkits, discount operations processes, and adoption plans for key affordability levers.Lead the rollout of key initiatives, ensuring alignment across product, sales, and marketing.Analytics & Performance Management
Develop deep insights into customer behavior, partner willingness to fund discounts, and pricing sensitivity.Build pricing and discounting models to evaluate elasticity, profitability, and ROI.Set up performance monitoring systems to track initiative impact and optimize over time.Stakeholder Management
Manage a team of 6 highly motivated project specialists across multiple topics of affordability.Act as the cross-functional lead across Product, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Commercial teams.Present strategic directions and initiative updates to C-level leadership and business unit heads.Qualifications : Experience
12-15 years in high-growth businesses, focusing on growth, pricing, or commercial strategy in eCommerce or food tech companies.Background in management consulting, internal consulting, pricing strategy, or growth in a marketplace / digital platform is highly preferred.Proven track record of owning multifunctional growth programs across product and commercial teams.Experience leading high-performing teams, motivating, and coaching toward achieving goals.Skills & Capabilities
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills.Deep understanding of pricing mechanics, discounting dynamics, and partner incentives.Experience working with product managers and familiarity with agile development processes.Strong operational skills; able to translate strategy into hands-on involvement.Excellent communicator and influencer, comfortable managing senior stakeholders.Additional Information :
