Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving new vehicle sales performance across assigned territories in the UAE. This role leads the execution of sales strategies, dealer network performance, and customer acquisition initiatives to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets. The role is focused on delivering a seamless, high-performance sales operation aligned with Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company’s acceleration roadmap.
What You Will Do
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with national targets and BYD’s growth strategy.
- Monitor and manage sales performance across new and used vehicles retail channels.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Lead execution of sales campaigns in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Dealer Network Management
- Support the expansion and performance of the BYD dealer network across the UAE.
- Conduct regular dealer reviews, performance assessments, and capability development.
- Ensure dealer compliance with brand standards, sales processes, and customer experience KPIs.
- Forecasting & Commercial Management
- Submit accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts based on market trends, lead conversion, and inventory levels.
- Optimize inventory turnover and manage stock ageing in coordination with logistics and planning teams.
- Monitor and manage controllable costs, receivables, and cash control within assigned regions.
- Customer Experience & CRM (Sales Touchpoints)
- Ensure a seamless customer journey across all sales touchpoints, from lead generation to vehicle handover.
- Collaborate with the CRM and digital teams to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Address high-level customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of sales-related issues.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and coach a team of Sales Managers and showroom sales staff.
- Drive a high-performance culture through clear KPIs, regular feedback, and development plans.
- Collaborate with HR and training teams to ensure continuous capability building.
