Job Description
The GCOO supports the growth of First Abu Dhabi Bank’s Consumer Banking Business by ensuring quality credit risk management, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining sound credit and market knowledge. The role involves preparing documentation for conventional real estate loans (Escan & Estate Finance), ensuring accuracy, and managing day-to-day secure lending operations activities. The candidate will provide high levels of customer service, ensure error-free processing, and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Prepare documentation such as loan offer letters, consent letters, and other ad hoc letters for conventional real estate (Escan & Estate Finance) loans.
- Review all documents for accuracy regarding loan amounts, interest rates, fees, and other terms in line with bank policies.
- Rectify discrepancies identified during document vetting.
- Sign as a maker for disbursal documents and internal memos sent to Loan Operations.
- Process system-related activities such as CAS and LMS as a maker.
- Prepare instructions for conventional real estate loans after documentation is complete and send to Loan Operations.
- Ensure timely submission and update of the respective MIS.
- Lodge disbursal and other relevant documents.
- Act as a backup in the absence of other staff as needed.
- Execute special tasks assigned by management.
- Maintain records related to administrative functions, including mail statements and important correspondence.
- Verify that applications are complete with all required documents and properly filed before security documents are sent for lodgement.
- Record all requests in the respective MIS.
- Process transactions as per the approved DOA for Credit and Business.
- Ensure all queues are cleared at the end of each day.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Major in Management Accounting.
Knowledge & Experience
6-8 years’ experience in Consumer Banking, with at least 6 years in mortgage and real estate loan admin / operations functions.
Skills
Proficiency in banking software systems, basic PC skills, and MS Office applications.Excellent command of English (written and spoken).Good understanding of the bank's financial systems.Deep knowledge of banking products, especially mortgage and personal banking.Familiarity with UAE legal environment and Central Bank regulations.Strong decision-making skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.Job Location
