The role will be primarily Dubai office based with travel to Iraq on a visiting basis required.

THE ROLE

Based in Dubai but with regular trips to Iraq primarily Baghdad the successful candidate will be accountable for the execution and leadership of the programme to the clients satisfaction consistent with cost schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success. Delivery of expected results for financial HSE client satisfaction budget and schedule performance.

Project description

KBR have a five plus three option year contract with the Iraq Ministry of Planning for the development of economic and physical programmes with a variety of government ministries to achieve the national development objectives. KBR are providing consultancy services on a Task Order basis covering economic master plan project prioritisation feasibility technical and financial review project management ongoing project monitoring and negotiation support across a number of sectors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage a large multi-disciplinary team of consultants to deliver successfully the task orders and the programme in accordance with policies procedures systems and requirements approved by the Company

• Develop implement and monitor the overall programme as well as individual task order budgets and schedules
• Health Safety and Environmental performance
• Client liaison and management
• Day to day management of KBR staff
• Project management reporting to the Client.
