About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support the successful delivery of data centre construction projects across the UAE.
This role is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and delivery of materials, equipment, and critical infrastructure components, ensuring projects remain on schedule and fully supported. Working closely with project teams, suppliers, freight partners, and site personnel, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth and efficient supply chain operations across multiple project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery, storage, and distribution of construction materials, MEP equipment, and critical infrastructure components across project sites
- Manage shipment tracking, customs clearance activities, import/export documentation, and communication with logistics partners
- Develop and maintain logistics plans, delivery schedules, and site access arrangements to support project requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and warehouse activities, ensuring materials are available when required
- Collaborate with procurement, project, and construction teams to resolve delivery challenges and minimise project delays
- Maintain accurate logistics records, shipment trackers, KPI reports, and performance data
- Support the implementation of efficient logistics processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, customs requirements, company policies, and Health, Safety & Environmental standards
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in logistics coordination within construction, engineering, MEP, infrastructure, or related industries
- Previous experience working in the UAE (essential)
- Experience supporting large-scale projects such as data centres, commercial developments, industrial facilities, or mission-critical environments (preferred)
- Strong understanding of UAE import/export processes, customs clearance, and freight forwarding operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms (advantageous)
- Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and material tracking processes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
