We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Specialist – Employee Relations to join our HR team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE labor law, employee engagement, and conflict resolution. This role is critical in fostering a healthy work environment, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on UAE labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution in a timely, fair, and confidential manner.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations cases and ensure all records are kept in line with company policy and legal requirements.
- Support performance management processes, including coaching managers on performance discussions and improvement plans.
- Liaise with legal advisors and government authorities as needed regarding labor issues, disputes, and compliance matters.
- Participate in HR audits and ensure ER-related compliance standards are met.
- Provide regular reporting and analytics on employee relations metrics, trends, and risks to HR leadership.
- Handle Residency and Insurance matters, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company standards.
- Draft all employee-related official letters, including NOCs, salary certificates, and disciplinary notices.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, enhance employee journeys, and implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5–7 years of HR experience in the UAE, with a strong focus on Employee Relations.Deep understanding of UAE Labor Law and its practical application in the workplace.Proven experience in managing conflict, investigations, and disciplinary actions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred but not required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
