Abu-Dhabi JVs operate in a sensitive contractual and highly competitive environment.
In addition to the usual shareholder duties, TotalEnergies is entrusted with the role of Asset Leader.
The position is based in Abu-Dhabi's multicultural business landscape and is supported by TEP-UAE's Finance, HR, Legal, and Planning / Development Teams. It also receives dedicated, permanent technical assistance from HQ within a sole cost budget.
Responsibilities include :
- Preparing the GHG roadmap and HSE section for annual internal exercises for Adnoc Onshore (Budget, PLT, etc.)
- Overseeing all HSE aspects for Adnoc Onshore and sharing best practices with the OPCO
- Establishing and maintaining the CO2 roadmap for the OPCO
- Ensuring the availability of monthly emissions reports for KPI meetings at the affiliate level, with contributions from OPCOs HSE leads
- Acting as the CFR focal point, ensuring all Environmental and Energy reporting to TEP UAE CODIR, TTE HQ via system
- Participating in HSE Committee meetings
- Promoting discussions with Adnoc Onshore on CFR and Energy Efficiency initiatives
- Analyzing Adnoc Onshore performance, incidents, and accidents reports
Technical Lead responsibilities include :
Supporting the preparation of technical dossiers for ADNOC Onshore's major investmentsCoordinating contracting approval requests according to procurement processes and preparing supporting materials for management approvalSupporting data and report preparation for TotalEnergies corporate exercises like PRIME, PDC, Budget, and LTPRepresenting ADNOC Onshore at the Audit Committee and assisting in risk management, internal control, audit, and compliance decisionsEnsuring the effectiveness of OPCO's governance, internal control, and risk management systemsMaintaining independence, qualification, and performance of internal audit functionsEnsuring the integrity of financial reporting processes and statementsPreparing technical discussions on TotalEnergies' shareholder role in Abu Dhabi concerning local stakeholders and other shareholdersAttending and preparing for OPCO technical committees with senior managementDelivering value from the ADNOC Onshore concession aligned with TotalEnergies' Profitability Roadmap, including supporting profitability initiatives and assessing impactsThe ideal candidate is a young generalist with knowledge across petroleum activities related to onshore operations and possibly a "petroleum architect" sensitivity. They should have a technical background (chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental sciences) with at least 3 years of experience in HSE and Oil & Gas activities.
