Overview

Foreground is partnering with a UAE-based drilling contractor to appoint a Director, HSE in Abu Dhabi. This role will direct safety and environmental programs across a fleet of offshore and onshore rigs in the Emirates.

About the Role

The Director will ensure best-in-class health, safety, and environmental practices, driving compliance and performance across all operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of HSE programs across all rig operations.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations and international safety standards.
• Lead incident investigation processes and implement lessons learned.
• Monitor HSE KPIs and provide executive reports on performance.
• Support operations and asset teams in developing safe systems of work.
• Manage audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
• Lead HSE capability development, ensuring strong competency frameworks across the workforce.
