Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Procurement Officer to join their team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and purchasing best practices. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Supplier Management :
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
2. Procurement Processes :
Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policiesTrack orders and ensure timely deliveryManage and resolve any issues related to procurement3. Record Keeping :
Maintain accurate procurement records and reportsEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures4. Collaboration :
Work closely with internal departments to forecast procurement needsProvide procurement support and advice to internal stakeholdersRequirements
