AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly experienced HSE Director to lead health, safety, and environmental oversight for the UAE High-Speed Rail (HSR) Intercity Project - Phase 1. This consultant-side role is responsible for ensuring that all contractors comply with the Contract's HSE requirements, UAE regulations, and international best practices.

The HSE Director will provide strategic leadership, technical guidance, and assurance across all project packages, including Civil Works (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), and Rail Systems. The role includes auditing, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and supporting contractors in developing and implementing robust HSE plans and procedures. The HSE Director will also lead continuous improvement initiatives, performance monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight & Compliance

• Lead the implementation of the project-wide HSE strategy and ensure alignment with the Contract and UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Review and accept contractor HSE plans, procedures, and emergency response strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA) and client-specific requirements.
