Logistics Supervisor

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive innovation within our busy Transportation network.

Responsibilities :

• Support the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager when required.
• Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet and exceed operational KPIs.
• Monitor performance and coach team members; partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
• Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and improve quality.
• Interview candidates for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor workload of drivers and associates, ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately.
• Measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics; assist with performance tracking and reporting.
• Train and mentor new associates, providing necessary knowledge for task execution.
• Follow up on and resolve process-related issues.
• Perform physical activities such as pushing carts up to 100 pounds and lifting packages up to 15 kg.
• Work flexibly in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
• Sufficiently resource the function through training, absence management, performance coaching, and productivity monitoring.
