Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations, including menu planning, ordering supplies, creating recipes, and maintaining quality control standards.
- Oversee food preparation staff and develop new menu items.
- Train staff on safety protocols and techniques; manage kitchen costs; create monthly schedules.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff; monitor inventory levels.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise in the kitchen.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred).5+ years of experience in a professional kitchen.Proven track record of successfully managing a kitchen staff.Ability to lead by example and foster a positive work environment.Excellent communication skills.Knowledge of safety protocols and techniques.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
