We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Specialist to join our Roads & Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil 3D, BIM processes for civil infrastructure, particularly in road and highway design. You will play a key role in developing, managing, and coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high standards in technical delivery, model quality, and compliance with local and international BIM protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM models for roads, highways, and related infrastructure using Civil 3D and InfraWorks.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models (roads, utilities, structures) and resolve design clashes using Navisworks Manage.
• Support the design team in producing aligned and profile-based designs, surfaces, corridors, and pipe networks.
• Maintain BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and client-specific requirements (e.g., RTA, Ashghal, ADM).
• Participate in clash detection reviews, quantity takeoffs, and generate accurate reports for design and construction teams.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and authorities to align design models with deliverables.
• Assist in automating workflows using tools like Dynamo for Civil 3D where appropriate.
• Ensure models are structured for downstream uses such as 4D / 5D BIM and asset data integration (COBie).
• Contribute to project documentation, QA / QC, and handover submissions.
