Overview

Assist the Workshops Management to accomplish aviation unit and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft components.

Responsibilities include :

• Supervising and providing technical guidance to personnel performing maintenance on aircraft pneudraulic equipment.
• Evaluating maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and policies.
• Managing all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751 and related publications.
• Performing maintenance trend analysis and applying production control, quality control, and maintenance management principles.
• Training personnel on aircraft armament maintenance, supply, and safety techniques.
• Evaluating the technical training program for host nation personnel.
• Managing parts, tools, shop stock, and supply requisitions.
• Maintaining accountability for tools and equipment.
• Keeping a current technical library aligned with shop needs.
• Ensuring safety for personnel and equipment.
• Providing oversight, guidance, and counseling to personnel.
• Enhancing the shop's capabilities.
