Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC is looking for a dedicated HR Officer - Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Officer will manage various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, leave management, payroll, compensation & benefits, training, and compliance. This role supports our mission to foster a positive workplace culture and maximize employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
• Support onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Facilitate employee performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR compensation & benefits policies
• Manage employee leave records and prepare payroll
• Facilitate employee training and development initiatives
• Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues
• Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and development
• Support employee engagement initiatives and programs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and trends in the industry
• Produce weekly and monthly management reports
