Job Description

• Reporting Operation Manager.
• Supporting the Operation Manager and taking decision when she / he is not in the office.
• Coordinating all exports from the Middle East, India, Indian sub-continent and Africa with our customers.
• Coordinating all imports to Middle East, India, Indian sub-continent and Africa with our customers.
• Invoicing Freight Transport, extra costs and demurrage.
• Coordinating with agents in Middle East, India, Indian sub-continent and Africa.
• Follow up of shipments advices.
• Follow up of the inventory with various depots and agents, liaising with the Den Hartogh Fleet management.
• Organize the empty repo from various region liaising with the fleet management.
• Follow up of claims procedures.
• Cost control of supplier’s invoices.
• Updating the Den Hartogh IT System.
• Procurement of shipping services.
• Other operational tasks as per Operations Manager requirement.

Essential Job Requirements

Good understanding of dangerous goods transport regulations including IMDG

Experience in sourcing, supplier control, assessing and auditing will be a plus

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player

Candidate should be able totravel internationally as and when required

Fluent in English, both verbal and written aspects

Should have minimum of 2 years’ experience in ISO tank industry with operations.

The ideal candidate will be based in Den Hartogh Dubai Office, UAE
