Job Responsibilities :

• Champion the Project Safety culture behaviors and engagement activities.
• Report to the PMC Engineering Manager and work under their direction.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve Mechanical (Static Equipment) Engineering issues during the EPC phase.
• Review and approve within specified durations the EPC Contractor's key deliverables for Mechanical (Static Equipment), ensuring compliance with design requirements and Licensor's PDPs, including interpretation and review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, systems, or equipment with relatively few complex features.
• Review and approve EPC Contractor's deliverables such as equipment design, system design, testing of materials, specifications, design calculations, drawings, data, engineering studies, reports, material requisitions, and quantity estimates.
• Review and approve key design documents from vendors, equipment manufacturers, or subcontractors, and prepare comments and recommendations, incorporating feedback from the owner.
• Attend technical meetings with the owner, licensor, EPC contractor, and vendors.
• Participate in all project technical sessions, including design review meetings, 3D model reviews, constructability reviews, SIL, EIA, HAZOP, and HAZID sessions.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC contractor’s Mechanical (Static Equipment) engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
• Supervise and manage review and approval of EPC contractor's work, ensuring compliance with owner and project specifications, relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models, contributing expertise to ensure design optimization and validation.
• Control and coordinate instrumentation and telecommunications specifications, including developing and updating specifications in line with owner requirements.
• Coordinate participation of other discipline engineers in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Influence facilities and equipment design optimization.
• Provide technical assistance and coordinate with other discipline engineers.
• Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
