Our client a leading UAE-based bank is looking for dynamic results-oriented Business Development Managers (BDMs) - there are several open positions -to join their growing Business Banking team in Dubai UAE. These positions are permanent successful candidates should be already based in the United Arab Emirates with business development experience in the UAE relocation from other countries / regions is not possible for these positions. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the growth of the banks liability portfolio and other products / solutions by acquiring new-to-bank (NTB) clients and deepening relationships with existing ones. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling business banking liability and other products to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and mid-market corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities of Business Development Manager Business Banking :
1. Business Development and Client Acquisition :
Represent the bank at industry forums trade shows and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
2. Liability Products Cash Management and Other Banking Products Sales :
Focus on growing the bank s CASA (Current Account Savings Account) deposits to ensure a low cost of funds.
3. Relationship Management :
Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities for other bank products and refer them to the appropriate internal teams.
4. Compliance and Risk Management :
Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective clients to ensure they meet the bank s risk appetite and compliance standards.
5. Reporting and Administration :
Stay informed about competitor offerings market trends and economic developments in the UAE to maintain a competitive edge.
