Overview
This is a key account-focused sales role based in the United Arab Emirates. The position involves managing high-value customers, driving growth, and coordinating across functions to ensure service excellence. Location : Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
Account & Business Development :
- Serve as the primary contact and trusted advisor for key customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs, challenges, and strategic objectives.
- Drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, expanding market share, and optimizing service offerings.
- Develop and implement tailored account development plans, including pricing strategies, volume commitments, and long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate and manage contracts and service agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability targets.
- Conduct market analysis to assess industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Customer Relationship & Service Excellence :
Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams (operations, commercial, finance, logistics) to ensure seamless service execution.Monitor and manage customer service performance, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and proactively resolving issues.Ensure compliance with customer SLA (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs, addressing concerns promptly to maintain trust and engagement.Provide strategic reporting and performance reviews to customers, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Operational Coordination & Performance Monitoring :
Work closely with shipping lines, agencies, and logistics partners to coordinate schedules, optimize cargo flows, and mitigate disruptions.Supervise the IFF (International Freight Forwarding) management desk, equipping them with the necessary tools, processes, and strategies to enhance operational efficiency.Implement performance tracking systems to monitor freight volumes, shipment accuracy, and cost efficiency.Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance customer experience and service reliability.Seniority level
