Structures Manager – Roads – UAE National

KEY RESULTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop strategic objectives and plans for roads structures maintenance, including rehabilitation projects, setting measurable goals and key initiatives based on current and expected performance within specifications.
• Deliver and maintain roads structures and related systems, managing activities internally or through contractors, including the evaluation of consultants and contractors.
• Oversee maintenance of bridges, tunnels, metal barriers, electromechanical equipment, fire fighting systems, cameras, emergency phones, and associated facilities.
• Manage the development of the Bridge Maintenance Management System (BMMS).
• Review maintenance contract documents and monitor contractor performance.
• Ensure snag lists for new structures are prepared and submitted for rectification.
• Develop and manage strategic and operational KPIs, performance management systems, and manuals for road structures and facilities maintenance.
• Manage contracts and renewal procedures, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for traffic and road structures and facilities across the Emirate.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate technical offers.
• Monitor pavement conditions and maintenance activities for all roads and structures in Dubai.
• Supervise maintenance works by managing consultants and contractors effectively.
