What’s the role?

The Head of EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality) at PXGEO will lead the development and implementation of the company's EHSQ strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices while promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across all operations. This pivotal role is responsible for guiding the EHSQ team and ensuring that all projects adhere to established standards for safety, environmental performance, and quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement EHSQ policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment while minimizing environmental impact.
• Lead the EHSQ and Maritime team, providing guidance and oversight for effective execution of EHSQ programs across all operational sites.
• Ensure the organization is compliant with local and international regulations relating to EHSQ.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments, reporting findings, and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management and project teams to integrate EHSQ considerations into overall business strategies and project planning.
• Foster relationships with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and other stakeholders to represent the company's interests related to EHSQ matters.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and analyze EHSQ performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are educated on EHSQ policies and procedures.
• Stay current on EHSQ trends and initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
