JOB PURPOSE
The trade marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, consumer engagement, and conversion across retail channels. This role focuses on translating Fragrances' global brand vision into impactful local activations, ensuring that brand presence in retail environments aligns with business goals.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and execute a local trade marketing plan for the UAE market, aligning with brand strategy to enhance brand presence, consumer engagement, and sales conversion across retail channels, with ROI-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Own free-standing store activation strategy and execution, focusing on driving differentiation, footfall, and sell-out.
- Monitor and report on activation effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to maximize brand impact.
- Retailer activations :
- Plan and execute podiums, in-store events, and promotions across key retailers in the Middle East to elevate brand visibility and drive retail sales.
- Manage global design brief and approval process with regional trade manager, retailers, and malls, ensuring timely and seamless execution.
- Act as brand guardian to ensure all animation materials align with global brand standards.
- Manage UAE POSM allocation.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure permits and execution align with brand guidelines.
- Handle freelancer agencies, negotiate budgets and prices, and select appropriate profiles for each activation.
- Boutique activations :
- Develop and execute an activation calendar within the region (events, masterclasses, CRM, takeovers).
- Align with retail partners to ensure high-quality consumer experiences and seamless execution.
- Manage sample and GWP forecasts for all boutique activations (always-on and events).
- Oversee local production of collaterals in line with global guidelines.
- Strategic partnerships :
- Explore and execute local partnership opportunities with relevant brands or industries to boost brand excitement and desirability.
- REPORTING :
- Report and analyze activation performance monthly, leveraging insights to improve future trade activities.
- Prepare UAE market and competition reports.
- CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION :
- Collaborate with product, artistry, training, VM, and retail partner teams to align on brand strategy and promotional activities across the Middle East.
- A&P Budget Management :
- Own trade marketing budget, track and report allocations, ensure ROI, and identify opportunities for improvement.
PROFILE :
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience within the beauty industry.Deep knowledge of the UAE market, consumer behavior, and trends.Successful track record in creating and executing trade marketing plans.Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership and a 'can-do' attitude.Experience in overcoming challenges, fostering a culture of excellence, and guiding communication with main stakeholders : EMEA regional office, global brand holder, and retailers.Dynamic, positive mindset, with analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.Alignment with Shiseido's Trust8 principles : Think Big, Take Risks, Hands-on, Collaborate, Be Open, Act with Integrity, Be Accountable, and Applaud Success.#J-18808-Ljbffr
