Overview
Head of Citigold Private Client and Citigold (UAE). Citi seeks a senior leader to drive growth and profitability of Citigold Private Client (CPC) and Citigold (CG) in the UAE. Reports to the Head of Asia South Wealth and is a key member of the Asia South Wealth Management Team, responsible for overall performance of CPC and CG in the UAE with a client-centric, digitally enabled approach.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Oversee the execution of the Asia South Wealth strategic plan within the UAE, collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure alignment and drive growth.
- Business Performance : Own the business plan delivery, lead front-office teams, grow Net New Investment Assets and revenues, manage expenses, and meet key performance indicators.
- Client Focus : Champion a client-centric culture, deliver best-in-class solutions, drive digital capabilities to elevate the client experience, and engage clients at events / meetings to deepen Citi Wealth relationships.
- Collaboration and Partnerships : Build and maintain partnerships across Citi (Products, Wealth Continuum, Digital Growth, Wealth COO Office, Data & Analytics, Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, etc.).
- Risk and Control Management : Maintain strong relationships with regulators, ensure compliance with laws and internal policies, foster a robust risk environment, identify and mitigate risks.
- Leadership and Development : Lead a high-performing wealth management team, mentor senior managers, ensure resources and skills, foster ethics and proactive risk management.
Day-to-Day and Operations
Provide leadership to CPC / CG UAE Management Team; set and review goals for sales channels; coordinate initiatives to close gaps to plan.Partner with Products, Citi Private Bank, Operations & Technology, Finance, Compliance, Legal, HR, Risk & Control, and other Citi units to develop and execute the CPC and CG business plan.Drive client acquisition, client growth, Net New Investment Assets, and cross-sell; drive digital in servicing and acquisitions; ensure audit readiness and strong controls.People and Talent
Structure organization and recruit, retain, and develop talent across leadership roles; execute Client Advisor growth plans; provide coaching and mentorship; implement Citi people management practices for an excellent employee experience.Support Wealth career path strategies, including Talent Continuum actions, Training & Development, and Total Rewards strategy.Qualifications
Proven track record as a senior leader in strategy, sales, people leadership, financial performance, risk & controls.15+ years of relevant strategic and operational experience.Experience leading transformation and changing business trajectories; strong knowledge of consumer banking and wealth management products, services, competitive landscape for Affluent and HNW segments.Ability to build internal relationships across the franchise to achieve common goals in a matrixed environment; strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Understanding of Citi policies (GCCFRP), compliance and regulations (preferred); knowledge of Citi people processes (preferred).Bachelor’s in Finance / Business (preferred); MBA preferred.EEO notice : Citi is an equal opportunity employer.
