Job Purpose :
The Emirati Employee Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving GIG Gulf’s commitment to Emiratization and the growth of Emirati talent within the organization. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training and development programs specifically tailored for Emirati employees. By working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, the role holder will ensure that training programs align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and the evolving professional needs of Emirati employees.
The role is essential to fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and engagement, helping GIG Gulf meet its Emiratization targets while ensuring that Emirati employees have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed and thrive within the company.
Main responsibilities
Training & Development Coordination
- Organize and manage specialized training sessions specifically designed for Emirati employees at GIG Gulf to enhance their professional skills and competencies.
- Collaborate with the Senior Emiratization Manager and department heads to identify the specific training needs and development opportunities for Emirati employees.
- Plan and execute engagement activities, such as workshops, team-building events, and cultural activities (e.g., UAE National Day, Flag Day, Iftar).
- Work closely with the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF) to provide specialized financial, regulatory, and compliance courses and certifications tailored to the needs of Emirati employees.
- Enroll Emirati and non-Emirati employees in the EIF portal
External Partner & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with internal and external trainers, including the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), to offer relevant financial, regulatory, and compliance training for Emirati employees.Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to enhance and expand learning offerings for Emirati employees at GIG Gulf.Ensure that the training programs offered by EIF meet the professional needs of Emirati employees while aligning with GIG Gulf’s strategic goals.Program Management & Quality Control
Ensure that all training programs for Emirati employees are cost-effective, delivered on time, and within the set budget.Manage and allocate the training budget for Emirati employee development programs, ensuring optimal use of resources while maintaining cost efficiency.Implement quality training solutions that meet the expected standards, delivering effective outcomes on time.Feedback, Monitoring & Impact Assessment
Collect feedback from Emirati employees through MS Forms and other channels to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements for future sessions.Track and monitor the progress of Emirati employees after training to ensure that newly acquired skills are being applied effectively in their roles at GIG Gulf.Analyze training data and insights to assess the impact of training programs on employee performance and organizational outcomes, using this information to make informed decisions for continuous improvement.Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the progress of training programs, the allocated budget, and the achievement of Emiratization targets, ensuring alignment with GIG Gulf’s goals and CBUAE requirements.Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of training data, certifications, and employee development activities in the CBUAE portal, as required by regulatory standards.Provide quarterly updates on Emiratization progress to ensure GIG Gulf meets its targets for Emirati employee development, in compliance with CBUAE portal requirements.Employee Development & guiding
Provide guidance and support to Emirati employees and managers, ensuring that learning is integrated into their daily practices, fostering continuous professional development and improvement.Offer guidance to help Emirati employees apply newly acquired skills to their roles, driving personal growth and organizational success.Awareness & Engagement
Develop and implement a communication and marketing plan to increase awareness of available learning opportunities and encourage Emirati employees at GIG Gulf to actively engage in training programs.Manage stakeholder expectations proactively by providing regular updates and clear communication regarding the impact and success of Emirati employee learning initiatives.Youth Development Program
Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the Emirati Youth Development ProgramDevelop a structured curriculum combining technical training, soft skills, and insurance-specific knowledge.Partner with business leaders to assign projects and stretch assignments for program participants.Monitor individual progress, conduct performance reviews, and ensure proper feedback mechanisms.Employee Engagement & Emirati Community Building
Develop initiatives to engage Emirati employees and build a strong community within GIG Gulf, fostering a sense of belonging and pride in their work.Organize social and cultural events, such as networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and industry talks, to enhance employee engagement and promote a shared sense of purpose.Implement programs that focus on the personal and professional well-being of Emirati employees, strengthening their connection with GIG Gulf and supporting their long-term success within the company.Other job expectations

UAE National with Family Book.Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent development, human resources, or a related role, with a focus on Emirati talent.Strong understanding of Emiratization policies, the UAE labor market, and the financial services industry.Proven experience in program management for Emiratis.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and strategic leadership skills.Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment, fostering an inclusive workplace culture.High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent written and oral Arabic language skillsPrevious experience within the financial and / or insurance sectorSeniority level
