Department overview :

Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. We act as market makers, trading in fixed income and equity securities, including currencies, interest rates and credit in cash, derivatives and structured products. Role description :

Key objectives critical to success :

• Being able to support the senior macro sales in their day to day job, ranging from execution of multiple trades a day, to on-boarding new clients, and marketing new trade ideas
• Showcase versatility and adaptability in order to cover a diversified range of clients, ranging from Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Financial Institutions and Hedge Funds
• Assist senior sales in mapping the G10 macro business with the clients, and help develop new products (local rates for example) with internal stakeholders.
• You will work closely with trading, structuring and various sales teams to generate and market new trades and product ideas and solutions to your client base
• You will develop a client distribution strategy & resourcing plan for MENA, alongside the other MENA sales people
